Exam results in less than 3 weeks' time and I'm VERY anxious?!

Question: Exam results in less than 3 weeks' time and I'm VERY anxious?
Hi Everyone

I'll be receiving my high school final year results (which will affect my entry to college/university) in less than 3 weeks time. This is the most important exam in my education path. As the days go by, i am getting more and more anxious as I am unsure of the outcome. As a result, I am unable to enjoy myself when I'm out with my friends as my mind is always filled with negative thoughts of getting bad grades and so on. What can I do to curb my anxiety such that i don't feel anxious at all even on the day just before the results are released?

Regards

People are far less anxious when they are prepared, so go out with friends less, and prepare more.

You can't change the past. Your exam results depend on an event in the past, namely you taking the exam. Worrying about the results will not influence or change them one bit. So the worry is a waste of energy, and you might as well do something more positive instead. Look to the future. Regardless of the outcome, there are usually many paths you can follow in life, and academic results can often be trumped by determination long term.

oh i know this feeling and im a fraid i tried hard but the butterflies would not stop coming until i held the results in my hand no matter what i did but this is what i was advised- you should seriously try to get this out of your mind you cannot change what is written on that paper. you need to listen to some calm music before going to sleep and pre occupy yourself at all times
good luck xxxxx

Tea, a hobby (video games, sports, walking) and keeping your mind occupied.
