Question: Is it possible for me to..?
tell my doctor i want to be put away because i think i am a danger to myself and others or will he do what he thinks is best or will he grant his patients wish and let me go away and get some proper help?

Talk to your Doctor, Ask them to Refer you to see a Psychiatrist. Explain your problem then they will help you.
