no...
Yes, ignore the other people. I've been on Citalopram for over two years. I felt like that when I first started taking it, and I talked to my doctor and she said it's perfectly normal and should go away within a week or so. For me it took about two weeks before I was feeling back to normal, but it can vary from person to person. It came back when my dose was raised but went away again. If your restlessness continues for several weeks or becomes too hard to manage, you should talk to your doctor, but otherwise you should be fine.

lists "restlessness" as a side effect, ans lists others, including sleeplessness.
If you do not like the side effect anyway, you might ask your doctor for a different drug, or seek non-prescription alternatives, such as:

It depends on what time of the day you take it. I took Paxil at night and it kept me up all night. I couldn't sleep. The doctor told me to take it in the morning. Then it was causing insomnia for me so I was taking Klonopin at night to calm down. Uppers and downers. I tapered off of both and got a new doctor. I don't use any psyche meds presently.
well all different meds can cause side effects in all different ppl
citolpram can make a person hyper and if you feel you are worse then call your dr to have a word
it can cause anxiety
irritable behaviour
dry mouth
upset tummy
tremor
weight loss or gain
severe side effects include
suicidal thoughts
severe allergic reactions
ie hives
rashes
swelling etc
your meds would have come with a patient leaflet that will contain useful info
talk to your dr but it will take a couple of weeks for the med to start working properly and thats when the side effects are art theri worse
best wishes
You first need to call the pharmacist who prescribes your medications. He is the expert in all medications and knows more about them than any doctor. He can tell you if you need to call your doctor or if these symptoms require more help or will go away.
beng clinically depressed is not the way we want to live our lives, I got out of it by following very simple ways

Actually it should be just the opposite, you should not feel this way. get to your doctor, and get this changed.
No, you should call your doctor ASAP.
No, they are definitely not normal and I would strongly advise you to contact your doctor immediately
