Question: Should I talk to my aunt or no?

Basically my aunt said that she would save me from my abusive situation with my brother, but only if I abandon my cats. There are no animal shelters in this city, so she said how I should go around, and leave them on the street one by one. I refused to do that, but didn't tell her, I just kept quiet about it, and ever since then she won't pick up her phone, she hasn't called to see how I am. Does she sound like an ok person or no? And should I rely on her or no? By the way she has lots of cats where she works, like lots, and she never offered to take mine in. She said if you need cats you can play with my cats, yet she wants me to abandon my own.

Strange. I guess you need to prioritize. How bad is the situation you are in? You certainly need to come first, but for her to tell you to dump your cats on the side of the road is rediculous. And now she won't answer the phone? Do you think that even if you do dump your cats she will BE there for you? She's not answering the phone now. Like someone else said, we don't really know your situation, but she sounds like she may have some problems of her own. Just my opinion. Is there anywhere else you can go to get away from the abuse? Like I said, YOU certainly come first, but her actions thus far sound quite heartless and unconcerned. Just my opinion. Take care.

do not even contemplate leaving your cats on the street that will cause you emotional torment
i dont know what your situation is or even your age
if Your brother is abusing you call the police your safety is at risk here
try come back with some more info

some dont like living with cats, iguess its your decision, is your future less important than your cats future
you can always get more cats later
