Question: Weird celebrity obsessions?
I keep having weird obsessions with celebrities, it's scaring me slightly. I don't even fancy them most of the time! I don't know what starts it, it just happens, and when I become obsessed I just look up information about them constantly to find out EVERYTHING about them. I buy things to do with them, DVD's, books, CD's. Also, eventually I realise I need to stop, what I'm doing is unhealthy. But I can't! It's like when a hypochondriac constantly looks up illnesses, but instead of looking up illnesses I'm looking up celebrities!
Also I like to imagine I'm related to said celebrity, like a niece or a daughter.
Also, the obsession only passes when a new one begins, so its just a cycle, and whenever I watch anything to do with a previous obsession in it I become re-obsessed, but the obsession is never as long or as strong as the first time.
So far I've been obsessed with David Tennant, Ozzy Osbourne & the Osbournes, John C McGinley, Johnny Depp, Zachary Quinto, Hugh Jackman, Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber, Gordon Ramsey, Ross Noble, Till Lindemann, Jack Nicholson, Robert Downey Jr, Jim Carrey, Adrian Pasdar, I know long list, help!

Did you know that you have SOMETHING IN COMMON with all these people? And that by trying to learn all you can about them and their lives you are obsessively looking for links to your own life.
And sometimes you find them.
The people whom you admire have worked very hard in their career and have often come into contact with people who have tried to limit them or criticize them but they have overcome this to go on.

Same for me! But I think it's a good thing - these people give you inspiration, your interest. Whoever they are, they are amazing people =)
