Question: Help, my mum is insane?
so what does she do? Believe this situation in her head and start abusing people for no reason, its driving me ******* nuts I cant take it im not tolerant, my mum just abused neighbour A because neighbour B honked a horn 2 hrs ago when mum happened to be hanging out washing
SO NATURALLY when mum keeps abusing people for no reason the whole neighborhood really does hate us then.
oh this has happened at 4 different houses in the last 10 years, she even thinks the people from our old house 5 years ago somehow magically know the people next door even though we basically moved interstate rofl, i cant deal with it, i got my own **** she wont get help
in all other areas she is completly normal except for this conspiracy theory bullshit its driving me nuts.
I just told her to shut the **** up and get help I dont want to hear it, my own life is off the rails I almost got bashed the other day by some bogans and fat mum is out there making more enemys due to thoughts in her vead

If you think talking to someone would help, ring Kids helpline on 1800 551 800 or Headspace which helps young people with difficult problems to do with mental health (like what you've observed is happening with your mum). Get a number for your local centre from their website.

Benjamin i think you need to take a chill pill, dont forget that you came out of your mother and she takes of you. Respect your mother. I think you telling her to shut up wont solve anything, go talk to the neighbors who honk and ask them politely to stop.
There is nothing you can do to change your mother's behavior and you will drive yourself mad trying to. Find a therapist for yourself to discuss how her paranoia affects you. A therapist will help you come up with some mechanisms for coping with her.
