Is there one pill that can help all of my metal illnesses?!

Question: Is there one pill that can help all of my metal illnesses?
I am going to see a psychiatrist Monday for all of my problems and I wanted to know what pills to ask him for.
I am 25 and I am ALL messed up due to being abused mentally and physically as a child

1) I have a speech disorder- sometimes I speak high pitched, low pitched, load soft, fast slow..etc
2) I have split personality disorder- I am like two different people and my thoughts changer every second
3) I am dyslexic- I cant concentrate to save the world. I will read and forget everything within seconds
4) My mind is always on the go- For instance, if you tell a regular person about a red corvette the corvette may just flash through their mind and thats it. If you tell me, my mind would run on that corvette WHOLE day. I would think about how fast it would go, the interior, if it can drift....etc. My mind is just unstable
4) I have severe anxiety attacks- Its so bad that I am afraid of the world, I usually stay in doors. If I see more than to people at once I panic. I often faint when in large crowds or of someone hands me a microphone to say something. I cant even make eye contact

So these are the symptoms I have and I wanted to know if one pill can fix all of them. If not then can you please recommend some meds for each symptom so I can tell my doctor about them.
The only one I know of so far is xanax for anxiety attacks so I willa sk him for that. I am clueless when it comes to my other mental illnesses

Is there Anyone out there who has these illnesses as well? What meds work for you?

Answers:

When the psychiatrist prescribes medications, it's like getting measured for a suit: what may fit someone else may not fit you.

You may have to take a combination of meds to address your unique symptoms, or there may be a trial and error process to get the dosage right. It's like running a bath, you have to keep testing the waters to get it perfect.

You can go to Web MD to check out a list of medications and what they are for, but no one can really tell you what you will be taking because it's based on your measurements. I wish you the best.

The best for me is SEROQUILE, it deals with anxiety, depression, and help stable thinking, and you can manage, daily life also.

Ask you're Doctore what dosage you're body can take

No there is not one pill. The psychiatrist is trained in psych medications and will be telling you what medicines will help with each disorder.
Xanax is not for long term use --and can be addictive.
Good Luck

There's no pill to fix speech disorders or dyslexia. For your mind always being on the go, you probably have ADD or ADHD, there's pills for that. Xanax is an anti depressant. There isn't ONE pill that will fix them all.

No. Effective natural treatment for anxiety is shown at http://your-mental-health.8m.com/blank_2… and page i. Panic; see pages 1, & h. Passionflower (as directed, or 1 drop in a cup of warm water, 4 times daily; view http://altmedicine.about.com/od/anxiety/… ) may be helpful, short term, with other herbal remedies shown at http://www.online-herbal-remedies.com/he…

I'd avoid medications, except as a last resort, and even then, only use temporarily, as they don't address the causes, merely (imperfectly) treat the symptoms, and carry risks, and side effects. Learn and employ the relaxation techniques (begin with Progressive Muscle Relaxation) and the EFT variant for use in public places, in case it is needed there.

Also view the post about demophobia on page V at 8m.com, and see page U re D.I.D. and take the quiz.

Even if you see the pdoc, also consult a clinical psychologist, who believes in the use of the minimum amount of medications necessary. Google: "clinical psychologists; (your location)" Because they don't prescribe, they are considerably less likely to be targeted by the sales reps from "BIG PHARMA", who profile psychiatrists psychologically and use the approach deemed to be the most effective at manipulating their type. View: http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articl… Ensure that you get a written copy of any tests performed (they may retire, or move, etc.). Go to whoever is recommended for the prescription of any necessary medications.
