Please Answer I'm Not An Attention Seeker?!

Question: Please Answer I'm Not An Attention Seeker?
Ok, So I'm 14 5'10 and 181 pounds. I'm a girl in case the name didn't give it away. Well I've been trying to lose weight because I used to be an over eater. So my calorie calculator said to only take in about 1,700 calories but I struggle to get over 1,200 and sometimes 1,000 calories. I'm obsessed with counting calories, everybody says I'm skiny but I know I'm not. I mean come on i'm 10 pounds over weight. I'm terrified of gaining weight. But I've been trying to push my self to 1,200 calories If i eat 1,200 calories in like portions over a day will that still keep my metabolism up. ??? Appearently I'm considered "anorexic" ,but this just started not even a week ago.

You should see a doctor for counselling before you do develop a eating disorder, my mum became anorexic when I was very young and she was one of the lucky few to survive it.

You are SLIGHTLY. overweight, but it all depends on your body frame. If its proportioned nicely you will look fine. a little extra weight sometimes look better than being skinny.

Now for the calories, if you dont feed your body right you will GAIN weight. yes gain. at least eat 1,500 calories a day, and excersize right and those 10 pounds will melt away.!

You aren't anorexic yet, but you are going down that path, and you already have some form of an eating disorder.
Did you know that one symptom of starvation mode is lack of appetite? Your body slows down your metabolism, and shuts of hunger cues to save energy and to keep you from going crazy when there is a famine.
I would eat at LEAST 1500 which is the MINIMUM for young people to eat to lose weight (when you don't get good nutrition it messes with your growth, hormones, and all kinds of stuff, regardless if you are average weight or overweight, or underweight).
Do you know how many calories you used to eat? Because I wouldn't drop your calories more than 500 from what you used to eat. It is unsafe and unhealthy, you only drop the calories more after your weight has plateaued.
