First thing is to control the reaction. Don't snap, force yourself to breathe. If you have to say something, try to find the nicest way to say it. Don't dwell on the issue either. When it's over, let it be over.
Now the real answer is controlling the initial feeling. The best advice I can offer is to work out daily. Really. Even a light workout or a 20 minute walk will give an outlet for excess daily hormones and promote production of endorphins. I know it sounds a little ridiculous, but this kinda saved my life. You get an overall better sense of self. You feel better, healthier, more confident. It also gives a way for you to escape your environment. I hope this helps
Usually I close my eyes, take a deep breaths and think of something funny. I tend to laugh those little annoying moments off. lol.
