I have Post Traumatic Embitterment Didorder (PTED) what do I do?!
Question: I have Post Traumatic Embitterment Didorder (PTED) what do I do?
I have researched a lot about this new mental condition PTED and not only do I tick all the boxes but I believe I've had it all my life. All the symptoms are there; constant feelings of helpless anger, intrusive memories of unjust events, ruminations of revenge and a great reluctance to seek therapy - remember "the world has to change not me".
Is there (or has there ever been) a pill for lingering incosolable anger? I read that CBT is the ideal treatment for this condition but as this therapy has failed me so badly in the past, much of my embitterment is towards CBT. I feel medication is just what I need.

What you really need is to be seeking out professional counseling. Your choices otherwise are limited, as NO physician will prescribe you a Benzodiazepene (ie: Ativan , Valium, et al ) with your symptoms. Only an anti - psychotic. ///// Your choice then: "Bug juice" or counseling.
