How can I stop feeling like this?!

Question: How can I stop feeling like this?
Last night I told my friend everything that I'd been hiding from her, about my depression and my suicide attempts, etc. She's the only one of my friends that knows.. and I'm just concerned. She took it really - I don't know, she was okay. And I was glad, and we're okay, I think. But I sometimes I just feel like I want to take it all back, and wish I never told her, and I do this with everyone, I just regret telling people things even though it was the right thing to do, they can't get it out of their minds now. When I think about it it makes me sick knowing that they know, even if I'm glad they know.

Answers:

I get panic attacks and I sometimes feel like not telling people because then they'll label me as a burden. the best thing to do is to talk to someone about it whose job is to listen to you. aka a therapist. It really helps to talk to someone who knows what youre talking about and can look at whats best for you in an unbiased way and help you! good luck (:

i don't know why you regret telling your friends. A few of my friends told me some of their problems like suicide etc. and we get closer as friends. There's no reason to feel regretful be happy that you share a trust connection with your friend. =) hope this helps

hi there ow dear you do sound in a pickle, i think we all tell people things and then regret it or wonder whether it was the correct thing to do, but hey its done you cant take it back so what you gotta think is that, this person is your best friend and they are that for a reason right, i wouldn't just tag any one as my best buddy so i am sure what you have told them is safe they are probley now just concerned and wanna help you, on the other note a lot of people that have not experienced depression e.c.t them self find it very hard to know what you are going Thur, but it does not mean they are not a good ear to listen to you when you need to talk or advise you and i am sure a lot of people you know will hide there own issues that they probley deal with each day as no body is perfect and we all struggle with things day to day but you should really try and Speak to somebody Professional as there is people out there that can help you and hopefully make you feel a hell of alot better and if you are already seeing Professional help then stick with it and you will get Thur this horrible depression that hits us all of us from time to time....
