How can I get my bf to understand my panic attacks?!

Question: How can I get my bf to understand my panic attacks?
I have a fear of vomitting, It is so bad that it gets to the point to where I will have a panic attack if my body does one little thing abnormal because I think it will lead to vomiting. Crazy, I know. But that is not the point, the point is, my boyfriend doesn't quite understand why this happens and what to do when I have a panic attack. I pace whenever I panic and he will come up and grab me and that just makes it worse. Is there a website about how to handle someone who is having a panic attack for me to show him or do you have any advice for him?
I know these types of things are a work in progress and I have came a long way and I feel like I am getting better. But it does help if you have the right kind of support. It doesnt help when he says that its no big deal, well it is a big deal to me.

Answers:

If you go to www.mayoclinic.com and type in panic attacks there is, a good explanation there.

Also try www.webmd.com. As your boyfriend to read about panic attacks and to be patient until you get yourself under control again. I pace when, I have panic attacks too.
The best thing he can do for you is, talk to you (if that helps )

Ask him to take this seriously and not to try to fix you and wait it out, a panic attack can only last for a certain amount of time.

Talk to your parents or a therapist or go see someone. This sounds serious and you might need some sort of medication to get you out of it.

and just tell him exactly what you wrote ^ above, he will understand.

Best of luck! :)

Please answer mine?

Tell him that he needs to understand that he needs to understand your differences
