I feel mentally impaired while sober, I only think clearly while im stoned. How !
Question: I feel mentally impaired while sober, I only think clearly while im stoned. How can I fix this?
The weird thing is that when I Do smoke, I feel ambition and responsibility, Im more active in conversation and have better problem solving skills in important situations. I have better access to my personal vocabulary and grasp of language. I feel as if im 'running at full capacity'.
Yet what I enjoy is illegal and pretty impractical at this point in my life.
Im not looking for rehabilitation advice, as quitting is not the problem.
I need to get rid of this crippling sobriety-induced ADD without shady dealers/jail time.
Should I see a shrink or a hypnotist?

You are so right; what you have been doing near non-stop, according to your account, is illegal. That is because these drugs are harmful to your brain which may explain your mental problems when off the drugs. You probably need psychotherapy to recover if your brain is not "fried" and there is no help.
Good luck!
Edit: To Zu: Pot contains a powerful mind altering chemical that can, with repeated use, damage the brain; even become habit forming. Those who illegaly continue to use marijuana can't see this because they are "hooked". The law is there for a valid reason and that reason is the drug is dangerous. MM

One joint causes more damage then 10 cigarettes. Not including when it may be spiked.
Formaldehyde, speed ,possibly PCP.They will unfocus you real quick, plus you will quit.
You may have an anxiety disorder, the smoke covers this up.Go tell your doctor.
