Ambien & Lunesta belong to the "Z" class of drugs better known as Zopiclone & Imovane. The "Z" class of drugs are not considered a Benzodiazepene, yet attach to the identical receptor sights in the brain. ///// All research points out that the Z class of drugs is more highly addictive than the Benzos and the ONLY successful way to get off a Z class drug, is to be prescribed a benzodiazepene like Diazepam aka Valium.
