Why in the world would you want to become a drug addict when most likely your problem is just a simple nutritional one? Here's a good video for you to watch:

If you are eating LOW FAT foods and believe that is going to help you keep weight off, you have been indoctrinated by some of the best marketing scams to hit the human race since Barnum & Bailey circus people.

Cocaine has the same side effects as adderall or ritalin and can make you into a drug addict almost as easily, but cocaine is not legal and the other garbage is thanks to drug companies.

Get with a nutritional therapist and become healthy. You will increase your energy levels, get healthy and not become a drug addict like the medical industry people would have you believe is the only way to "Relieve those symptoms."

EDIT: Don't go see a psychiatrist because they will just prescribe some drug like the ones you suggested and again, just more "MAKE BELIEVE HEALTH" that will damage your body, shorten your life, and create suicidal tendencies.

good luck to you

You need to try natural ways to address your issues, not turn to a drug. Are you exercising? Eating healthy foods? Drinking too much coffee? Alcohol? Do you work? Have a job or go to school? If you are a teen, it can be a normal cycle and you'll outgrow it.

Adderall or Ritalin is no solution for depression and can lead to bipolar disorder if you treat depression with stimulants such as these. You are better to work things out naturally. Read up on depression and try to make lifestyle changes. Cut TV out of your life, and get active, that can help also. There are a myriad of reasons for depression, so there is no one solution for every person, but you need to work hard at your issues and you can overcome them.

Simple: See a psychiatrist.

In response to the other poster,
ADHD medicine is not SUPPOSED to make you depressed. Even simply talking to a psychiatrist helps. Then they will suggest medication. I propose that you should attempt taking the medicine, and if it is not working for your body, then simply tell your psychiatrist. Simple.

Good luck. xx

ALSO, nutritional issues does not cause ADHD. So therefore healthy habits will only help a little, but will not ultimately help the symptoms. Bad nutrition does not cause ADHD, an imbalance of brain chemicals do.

For me, adderall was the best thing ever for my Depression. You'll need to see a Psychiatrist to get prescribed it. Adderall is a VERY VERY Powerful drug, so it's not to be abused.

If you tell a Psychiatrist you have trouble staying awake, concentrating and are depressed....most will prescribe for you as this is an "off label" prescription for Depression.

however, you mentioned you don't have Insurance...Adderall is EXTREMELY expensive...about $400 a bottle....is what mine cost (BEFORE) insurance paid for it.....so you might not be able to afford it (after the $150 psychiatrist appointment).

Sorry, I take that back.....now that there is a Generic form..the Brand has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY

It's about $100 (I took the 30mg 2x a day dose).

By the way, don't let them give you the Generic kind...it's not NEARLY as good or as strong as the Brand Name....

Where you have no insurance, I'd suggest that you call your local public health department, and see if there are any free clinics. They should be able to advise you on where to go, and who to see.
