Should I get counseling? I don't feel good about myself.?!

Question: Should I get counseling? I don't feel good about myself.?
We've been dating since grade 10 and now we're in university. I don't think I'm attractive but he says I am. I'm pretty hairy and kind of flabby.
Like I'm 6'4 and about 230 lbs and pretty large. He's about 5'8 and really skinny and I feel like a giant next to him. I have a really wide frame and stuff.

Gah I just feel really insecure. People are making me feel like I'm a werewolf or something whenever I go swimming with him and I just feel really fat and gross. I dress really plainly in solid colors and jeans. Plaid at the most, but rarely.
He tells me he doesn't mind my chest hair or the fact that I'm 3 sizes bigger than him and he really likes it when I give him bear hugs and cuddle because he feels safe and that I make him happy and stuff. (he used to self harm) He doesn't care if my weight presses down ln him when we have sex or anything.
Even through all of this I still feel awful and insecure about myself. I don't feel good enough for society. He makes me happy but everyone else is really bringing me down and I just want to live life and go on and just be with him for the rest of my life.

I really want to feel good about myself and not feel insecure about my body again. :(
should I get counseling? I've talked about it with him because we love eachother and he's being so kind and sweet and caring and considerate and trying his best to make me feel good about myself. I'm only happy when I'm with him.

You have the perfect reason to get in shape. You have a relationship to feel good about, and you should be motivated to get in better shape, not for him, but for you. If you are uncomfortable with yourself, you need to change that. You have the perfect opportunity to be more fit.

If absolutely necessary, try a diet, but not because you think you are fat, but to get healthy. When people think of diets, they think Skinny. But what you should think is Healthy. He should support you in this since from what I hear, he loves you, for who you are on the inside. If you change your outside and be more confident, that should only strengthen your relationship with him and yourself.

It happened to me at 15 lasted until I was almost 17 I'm 18 now i'd say yes don't be like mr
