are these signs of a mental disorder?!

Question: Are these signs of a mental disorder?
okay, so I am 15, and well I still talk to myself. I don't have imaginary friends but people that I talk with in my alter ego life throughout the day and I know they are not real even when the fantasy feels real. I've always had people and lived lives in mind my everyday since I can remember. I spend good portions of everyday talking to myself but the last month, when I'm in bed at night and I get worried, think of stressful thought of relive a bad memory I scream out and jerk uncontrollably. Also, since I think about sex a lot, I have started whispering dirty things to myself without meaning to. Do you know if this is normal, if not how can I help it? and if it's a mental condition, what is the name of it?

That sounds like Maladaptive Daydreaming. It's a condition that causes excessive daydreaming. Take a look at this article and see if this sounds like you:

I have this problem. I've been excessively daydreaming my whole life since I was a very small child. There are actually a lot of people with this problem. There are even forums online about it:

Obviously, no one can diagnosis you over the internet. If you are having trouble telling the difference between fantasy and reality, or are actually seeing and hearing things (rather than just imagining it) then you could have something serious like schizophrenia or psychosis, instead of MD. Perhaps you might want to talk to your parents or a school counselor about all this. Best of luck and hope this all helps.

anxiety or ilusions?
