Well, I am assuming you got diagnosed by a doctor. You need to talk to a medical professional. Are you on medication? A doctor can answer your questions better than anyone on here. Also maybe look for a bipolar support group in your area to talk with others who are dealing with similar issues.
You sure you're bipolar? Have you been diagnosed by a doctor?
Growing up with a parent struggling with an addiction is really hard, it definitely affected your personality. I think you should go talk to a psychologist about it, you probably have many conflicting feelings, feelings that want to be heard and valued. A professional will help you voice them. You'll be fine.
You shouldn't diagnose yourself with bipolar disorder. You could just be having mood swings as a result of another condition.
Obviously, the only answer is seek therapy, and if they think you need medication - take it.
There is no quick fix that you can do from your room.
try taking certain pills for your problem or see a therapist.
