When telling stories I like to put some salt and pepper on the top?!
Question: When telling stories I like to put some salt and pepper on the top?
I am not a liar but when It comes to say some stories I like adding some salt which I make out on my mind on that moment. I usually do it to make people laugh or to make people feel better. But I also do it sometimes when I feel like I have nothing to say about my life. Most of the cases, after I finish my story, I tell them is bullshits or I tell them which part was made up but sometimes I don`t. Is that bad or not? Personally I hate lies and when people ask me straight forward questions I cannot lie. Even if I try people will understand me because I am never good at telling lies but it`s different when talking some of your past stories.
I dont know if you have seen the movie called Big Fish but I am similar to that but in a less degree.
Could it be because I want people to believe in something that doesn`t exist because the truth is far more harsh than the made up stories? or that`s what everyone is doing?

its not uncommon for people to exaggerate a bit sometimes when telling a story to make things seem more amusing as long as this isnt something you are doing all the time and it isnt misleading or hurtting someone i wouldnt worry about it
