Could I be suffering from depression?!

Question: Could I be suffering from depression?
I'm 16.

I think I may be suffering from depression because first off; I sleep right after school; naps last 4-5 hours and I sleep later on too.
Second off- I get annoyed at my best friend for just talking to me sometimes; instead of leaving me alone
I act bipolar; get crazy mood swings.
I'm uninterested is ANYTHING and completely unmotivated
No matter how hard I try to push myself, I still fail school
Not cuz I don't understand; it's because I don't do my work
I'll literally sit for hours alone and still get nothing done because I space out or get distracted
I'm failing every subject at school
I have done that last year too; I just wanna give up because I feel as if I'll always fail no matter what

My school counselor thought I might be depressed...

I'm not sure tho because I'm the most hyper/giggly person in any of my classes
I'm loud and fun and crazy; I'm rarely ever sad

Yet I feel as if I'm depressed... Is that possible?
