Lacking sleep : Good reason to stay off from school?!

Question: Lacking sleep : Good reason to stay off from school?
I didn't get ANY sleep last night. None. Is not getting any sleep a good reason to stay away from school? My mom doesn't think so.

Tell her yes. Lack of sleep CAN affect school work. Loss of sleep can result in low energy, concentration issues, social issues. You could accidentally fall asleep in class and get in a lot of trouble. Sleep is necessary for school. The best option would be going into school LATE. Just sleep in and have your mom excuse you from your first and or second class. If she doesn't want to say its because of sleep (usually not a good reason according to attendance for excused absence) Just say my son/daughter was throwing up this morning or feeling a bit sick.

If you don't sleep it is proven that you will score less on a test or assignments.
Thats why they tell you to get LOTS of sleep and EAT breakfast when you take your ACT and or SAT.

Yes sleep affects motor skills and brain coordination and you can get a bit delirious .

If you can't possibly stay awake, its a good reason

no excuse

yes cuz u will be sleepin in class
