I can never sleep at night?!

Question: I can never sleep at night?
I lie awake and thoughts flood into my head, and I get myself freaked out.
I always think that if I turn around in bed, someones going to be there, watching me..
I think about everything, even though I don't try to, and it lasts for about an hour.

is something wrong?

im not quaified to say if somethings wrong but it sounds like you have trouble sleeping because of anxiety or stress.. to get better sleep at night try doing something during the day that will make you tired like exercize then when you are getting ready for bed get yourself into a habit that relaxes you like drinking hot tea or hot cocoa something thats not cafeinated and try reading a book watching tv or writing in a journal things that you like that will calm you down it helped for me and i had problems with nightmares so i was literally afraid of going to sleep

Mis musculos y columna no me permitian llevar tacones altos. Hoy me siento de 25 y soy modelo 57. AH Y LA MENOPAUSIA YA NO QUE QUITA LA LIBIDO.

i don't think anything is particularly wrong, you just have irrational fears and a lot of thoughts. that happens to me sometimes too. try relaxing a little before bed. don't watch tv or scary movies before bed. when you lay down try reading a good book. it will get your mind off of things and you will think of the story and characters when you are falling asleep. maybe try sleeping with your light on if the dark bothers you. hope this helps!

You might need some anxiety medication. I know I have the same problem that you do. I'm not on the medication but I'm thinking about asking my doctor for some. It gets so bad that I have to take something to make me go to sleep and even then I'm still fighting with myself to go to sleep.
