Question: Anyone know why my mom does this?

its been a few months sense i called in sick to work,im 23 and still live with my mom and dad but i give them all my money.every time i call in to work she tells me to do a bunch of stuff around the house and i just think it myself i don't feel good, i called work because i didn't feel good why the F would i want to work at home if i don't feel good? it used to be worse, she used to ***** for hours and than tell me to do sh!t around the house

Don't be lazy your under her roof, do what she says, she could easily kick you out. N by showing that u can't be arsed doin stuff round the house, its shows that ur lazy n wnt do a good job at work, change ur attitude if I were u.

because if you're not at work, you can't earn money.

They really don't want you to get used to calling in sick so you don't have to go to work, and that if you're not gonna go to work, you're still gonna find a way to "pay" or rather "earn" rent in the house.

its how parents are sometimes.

Her house, Her rules, not yours, unless you're dying help her out, she raised you for 20years of your life and put up with you, so repay her.
