How do I stop getting mad because of other people?!

Question: How do I stop getting mad because of other people?
People say things that aren't even directed towards me and it gets me angry, and it happens all the time, I just get mad for no reason. I have depression and anxiety, I don't know if those contribute to my anger. But lets say someone says, "I JUST WENT TO THE BEST CONCERT EVER," I'm just sitting here, annoyed, like, "Cool, shut up." It's not jealousy, I know that much.

I don't want to be this way. I want to be happy for other people. How can I stop all of this?

Answers:

It sounds like you were envious, it's uncomfortable but everyone experiences that emotion sometimes.

I do a twelve step program for my problems: I admit there's a problem I do an inventory: Why I am angry, and what's my part in it? Talk to someone I trust about it. , Make amends if possible, pray for the removal of the defect. The las step is to meditate and seek god, then help others with the same problem. Volunteer maybe?
Also check into natural remedies for depression at your local health food store. Citrine is supposed to alleviate depression.
My boyfriend flipped out, stole my driver license, and I have been really depressed about that.
I took some time off, went to the beach and bought a kite and flew it on the beach. It's good th t you recognize the problem so early. That's a sign of real mental health.
