Hello ,

From the 1960s through the 1980s , the ( Tricyclics ) were the first choice medication of depression.
Although today they were replaced by the ( SSRIs ) , they are still prescribed today for more more cases of severe depression .
Some of the side effects of the ( Tricyclics ) are as follows :
-Weight gain .
-Drowsiness.
-Constipation .
