A very general question but I'll give it a shot!

only two things will make you crazy around people. Hormones or fear. If you are attracted to someone, this will induce hormone production which affects the brain and many ways. If you fell threatened this will induce fear which also affects the brain. Threats can come in many forms, physical, intellectual, competition, past experiences.
