What happens after a teen suicide attempt?!

Question: What happens after a teen suicide attempt?
My close friend recently attempted to take her life. She overdosed on pills; this was the first time. We have been best friends for a few years. She gets good grades and is outgoing when her (undiagnosed, I just think this) depression doesn't take over. I treated her badly and I regret it more than anything.

What happens now? The school (Private Christian School) has talked to her parents before, and was in the middle of talking when she overdosed. I think this is what caused it.

Will she be allowed to return to school? Mental institution? Can I see her?

I worked at a psychiatric hospital for many, many years.
Your friend can have mail, telephone calls and visitors. You can call and leave a message for her to telephone you at home, too.

She will be going to school while she is hospitalized and she won't miss out on any tests or lessons because her parents will bring her books to the hospital and private tutors will work with her until she's ready to be discharged.

And if you are attending a Christian school and you have treated her badly and regret it, you are obligated to contact her and try to make it right.

I'm not sure about all of it, but make sure that she knows that you are sorry for whatever you did and will be there for her no matter what.Give her mental support, and just stay by her side. Although she may have to go to an institution or center for rehab, with help she can get better. Think positive, and just think about what you can do to help her.

Don't worry what happens is if at worst she will be in the psych ward at a hospital for a few days or a week. When she gets out she might have to go to outpatient wich is like school hours and lasts like a week. This is all depending on how well she does

Someone I knew in high school tried to. I don't know what happened right afterwards, but he was allowed back in. And of course you can still see her! Apologize to her about your behavior if you haven't already.

NO, THEY'RE GONNA FINISH THE JOB.
