Medical marijuana for depression?!

Question: Medical marijuana for depression?
My mom has depression and has been taking medication for years, trying different dosages and types but nothing seems to help much. She has a tumor on her petuitary gland as well and I am assuming that much of her depression comes from that. I have been reading up on medical marijuana and its advantages and disadvantages on depression. I feel that it could possibly help her and I think she should give it a try. Does anyone have any knowledge, experience or input on this topic? It would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe she needs a different Dr. they should be able to remove the tumor or give her the meds to correct the hormone that is causing the depression or they are blaming all of the depression on the tumor when possibly she has a vitamin D deficiency I know that caused a lot of my depression and it is being recognized by more dr. as a big cause of depression

In California, you can get a medical mj card for as little as $50 plus $40 for the paperwork. Then you can buy mj cookies and try some and see how it goes- it could be great. And, it doesn't work for some people. The key is to not buy or try too much- start with a quarter "dose" and then another in an hour if that doesn't work.

Smoking is better initially because you get the effect faster, but it means you have to smoke it, which is hard to hide and can be harsh. They also have vaporizers which work well apparently, but might take a week or so to order.

Lots of people have depression for emotional reasons. It's best to discover why they're depressed, perhaps what they pinned their hopes on and what happened. Has she seen a therapist? Also, there's a free online course at the link below. Maybe you could do it with her, help motivate her.

Well obviously if her depressio ncomes from the pain of the tumor, it would make sense to get the tumor surgically removed... You might not have known, but cancerous tumors can cause extreme constant pain and eventually death and hence, *depression*

Get it removed ASAP

I'm bipolar I used to hate my life and then I got high the end. Weed for depression workes for me lol
