How to deal with this problem?!

Question: How to deal with this problem?
I failed twice at school and left school 2 years back, the problem is that I have a disorder in my brain which is like a disability. I did go to school but I couldn't socialize with anyone at all, by that I mean literally no socialization like just sit alone in the class and barely talk to anyone. Noone ever thought that I have some problem in my brain and always treated me like an untouchable. In the second year too the same thing happened. I couldn't even start a conversation with anyone normally. I went to a psychiatrist few months back and the psychiatrist said that my case looks a little bit like Autism. But I didn't have any of the symptoms of Autism during my birth, my parents say that I didn't have any of the symptoms of Autism during my birth and I can write and talk normally except socializing and talking to people. I am always shy and I never know why. I always feel noone is able to understand me and ususally sad. I am always sad and always think that nothing good is going to happen with me and I am clueless why my life is so sad, I have no friends(Its not like I have 0 friends but what can I do when I can't even keep up with anything and socialize, I don't even have the will power of doing anything now because it is literally crushed). Anyway recently my mood is ALWAYS OFF because I had a fight with someone in my house and he really screamed at me very hard and destroyed my confidence. Since then my mood is always off and I couldn't even celebrate my birthday due to that. Its now feeling more like a mood disorder. I wasn't even able to celebrate my birthday and noone cares at all anyway. My mood has been like this since almost a week. So can the new mood problem be a mood disorder? I remember that I even developed some confidence before that fight happened in my house but now even that is lost. I feel that my confidence is crushed too now since this mood problem started. Please help

oh, don't be so sad! there is nothing wrong with you. whether you are Autistic or not, no matter how good your self-confidence is, you are loved, even if you don't feel like it. the world can seem to be a horrible place, but if you flip it around, you'll see that the sun is always waiting behind those dark stormy clouds! and no, i don't think this is a mood disorder. you just feel lonely and sad... we all do sometime. but hey, problems pass. i'll be your friend :)

ill be ur friend bro. ur prolly not anymore different than me or my friends. shaumburg il , starbucks

Todd, the only people that can diagnose you with a mood disorder would be your doctor or therapist, we don't have enough information to be able to do that. You are who you are. Don't label yourself.

Sounds like socializing with people in life is hard but what about online? I am a shy person as well but I found that opening up online gave me some skills that I can use in life. I am a much more open and confident person because of it. I played online games, MMOs where I could talk to people whenever I wanted. It helped me so maybe it would help you too.

Lastly, about being screamed at. That's scary sometimes. How do most people deal with it? Well, they feel off for a bit too. It's up to you as to when you are going to decide if what happened is going to continue to bother you.

What's important is that you need to believe in yourself. Think that you can make friends, can socialize. Try different methods to talk to people, like making them something or just passing by and saying hi. What I would do first is pick someone who seems nice and gentle. Smile, inviting them in so they know that the reason why you're alone isn't because you want to. Don't feel crushed just because one person made you feel down. Just get up again! I know someone that always gets on my nerves, saying harsh things. But I don't let that get to me. Remember, many people love you. You're not alone. I know you can do it, because you've tried to seek help. I hope this helps to give you more confidence... :)
