What mental illness could I have?!
Question: What mental illness could I have?
Answers:
Shredder, you don't strictly need insurance to be treated for conditions such as what you may have. In situations like yours, there are agencies that can help you.
Get down to your county (or city) mental health agency and see someone there. Tell them about your condition and tell them your financial situation and they will ensure you see their own psychiatrists and get help in obtaining the medications you need.
If you can't seem to find the right agency to go to for this in your county or city, then contact the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) at this web address:
www.nami.org
Click on the button that says "Find Your Local NAMI" and they will help connect you with an agency that will tell you where to go to get help.
You can also call their information number:
1 (800) 950-NAMI (6264)
Shredder, in answer to your question, it sounds a bit like schizophrenia, but only a psychiatrist can tell that for sure. There are GREAT medications for this, so do NOT panic! Yeah? Just get down to the county mental health agency and you will be taken care of, for sure.
Hope this helps!
