I called a suicide crisis hotline because I was suicidal?!

Question: I called a suicide crisis hotline because I was suicidal?
I was very upset and irritated and the person on the phone at crisis said "I don't have to listen to this" and hung up. are they allowed to do that?

Answers:

No, I'm sure they can get fired if anyone finds out.

If you need someone to talk to, then you can e-mail me at dreamsofsomeday@live.com. I of course don't have the experience the people for a suicide hotline are supposed to have, though.

That's so horrendous of them. I hope someone finds out at kick them out soon.
I used to be depressed. It's so horrible to deal with. I sometimes still do feel depressed, but I am not depressed, anymore. *huggg*

No, they arent allowed to do that. Do you want to talk? Contact me if you want. I've been where you are. Dont go through it alone. Please. It's not good.

Been through depression, eating disorder and panic attacks.

That is a horrible thing to do. My ex-boyfriend called a suicide hotline and they were nothing but understanding and helpful, so not all crisis workers are like that.

they're not allowed to do that!
