Question: Anyone prescribed adderall xr and zoloft?
I've been prescribed adderall xr for really bad ADD for almost 5 years now, and I've just been prescribed zoloft for social anxiety. The thing is, I came across information that said it could be dangerous to take the two together. A friend of mine said it would be okay if I had started the zoloft first and been on that for a while, then started taking adderall, but I honestly don't see how that works out. So, I just wanted to see if anyone else is prescribed both adderall xr and zoloft, and also had been taking adderall xr for some time and then started taking zoloft along with the adderall. Is it safe? Is anyone else prescribed these two together? Or do you know anyone prescribed the two together? Any weird side effects to the combination? Any information would be greatly appreciated:]

Your doctor would know best. If you're still worried, call the pharmacist..
If you found out that it could be dangerous by looking it up on an medication interaction site, don't worry.
I have been on both of these meds, albeit at different times..but I took adderall with about 4-5 other psych meds including SSRIs...
