Do i have schizophrenia?!

Question: Do i have schizophrenia?
Hello i have already self-diagnosed myself with schizophrenia and am 100% sure based on the information i have read and researched on the internet (legitimate sources).

But i would still like other peoples opinions (who know what they are talking about) and see if they think i have it or not or if it is possibly something else?

I experience psychotic episodes on a daily basis throughout school i feel constantly disconnected from everyone, i feel like if i could make friends if i wanted to but choose not to because i feel like it would just be stupid because i'm not related to them. i have another friend that feels the same way as me so every time we walk out the doors of the B building everything feels crazy and we just laugh because it is such an surreal and unearthly feeling.

I occasionally have hallucinations but nothing major, i hear things more but not like voices talking to me. its more like i hear my parents calling for me from down stairs, but this is constant and happens with other things as well like i always hear the door opening to my math class but it is not. Also i can to spirits in my mind but i believe they are real and we are communicating (not a part of schizophrenia).

Also i generally have a lot of anxiety every morning during first period my body get extremely hot and sweaty for the whole period (1 hour) and then it cools down by the next class. but i am still anxious throughout the rest of the day.

Also i am diagnosed (by a doctor) for ADHD & Major depression.

I abuse substances frequently and smoke ciggarettes.

I have few friends but they are all close friends, i dress normally and am not considered to be a loser by my peers (just kind of the stoner kid who doesn't care about anything) .

Also even though i always feel detached from reality and hear things and see things sometimes. i am rarely delusional even though i did have 1 experience where i was playing video games and all of a sudden this thought popped into my mind that my dog was somehow drowning in the pool outside i looked all around my house and even went into my parents room (waking them up) to see if my dog was there sleeping and she was. This was my only delusional experience.

Also i feel extremely isolated all of the time and sometimes like that feeling. i don't like being in a large group of people or people who are trying to gather attention to themselves. Also i used to be a really impulsive person and used to have a phrase that i would repeat over, over, & over again. for instance when i was in 7th grade i always use to yell the word random. during class at home, pretty much all the time and have done this with other phrases. (does that mean anything?)

other than that i think my schizophrenia is due to the medication used to treat my ADHD. methylphendiate (4 years) lisdexamphetamine (6 months)

well thats it try to tell me if i have schizophrenia or some other disorder and go into major detail about what you think and why. also if you think i dont have schizophrenia tell what you think and why and try to diagnose me with something else.

If i don't have schizophrenia i do have these symptons

-psychosis (major detachment from reality, minor hallucinations)
-high anxiety
-Diangnosed ADHD
-Diangnosed Major depression
-History of drug abuse (high amounts of amphetamine, methylphendiate, MDMA, marijuana, ciggarettes, low amounts of alcohol, opiates, & benzodiazepines)

Answers:

I doubt that you have Schizophrenia. you may have a dissociative disorder. the medication can also cause the problems you are describing. Schizophrenics are much more disorganized, and have symptoms of thought disorders

I would definitely keep an eye on your symptoms of depersonalization

you may even have a little bit of OCD with intrusive thoughts.

A research hospital or a university-connected program that does testing for Schiz would be more helpful than a for-profit psychologist.

go see your doctor that diagnosed your ADHD and major depression as they will be able to tell you whether you have it or not hope this helps .

Possibly. To find out for sure consult a physician, psychologist, or neurologist.

Nobody on answers is qualified to make any kind of diagnosis. You need to see a psychiatrist. Bipolar disorder is another option. Often severe manic episodes very closely resemble schizophrenia. Also, methylphenidate and amphetamines can induce psychotic symptoms (it's called "amphetamine psychosis"), but usually that only happens if you take incredibly high doses for an extended period of time. Just go see a psychiatrist, tell him or her about your history and symptoms, and you will get a real diagnosis.

i dont understand why you are asking the general public about something like this if you do have schizophrenia it is a major disorder that you need to go talk to a doctor about.

Also schizophrenics dont hear their mom calling their name or doors closing thats just something that everyone hears. They usually hear someone they know having a conversation with them or something like that dont jump to conclusions about something so major. and the hallucinations that you see are probably from the drugs that you take you were probably on shrooms or acid or something like that so maybe you should stop the drug use and go talk to a doctor to get your stuff figured out.
