Hi John John!

Try not to worry about this. Most likely they have already forgotten about it and are more focused on what they have to do next. Also you are probably hard on yourself and you did not look like a fool as you imagined. It is not easy to get used to speaking in groups, it takes practice. The most important thing is that you completed your project and did a great job.

If you are feeling lonely in school, try a different approach. Join in a school activity or club you are interested in, but have been hesitant to join. You will meet others who have similar interest. Don't expect it to happen overnight, but over time you will become more confident in yourself by doing what you love to do while being around others who also have the same passion.

First of all, this isn't the thread to post that in. Second, don't worry about it; people have their own problems and tend not to worry about other people's problems much at all. Chances are everyone understands what you went through but they really couldn't care less of the difference. Many people fold under pressure in front of a bunch of people. Plus the fact that I bet each of them were going through their own anxiety about presenting, and were more focused on that than how you were doing yours.

My own several experiences with project presentations

Aw, don't worry! I hate doing presentations and talking out loud too and have had similar problems. Don't put yourself down though, no one will remember it soon anyway as people are more concerned with their own lives and how their own ones went than yours. You will get over it anyway cos embarrassing things happen to everyone and even I've got over some embarrassing things just about, lol. Ignore people who do make fun of you for it, sure they won't even remember though. You worked hard on the presentation anyway, so be proud and it's hard to think when ur on the spot like that, don't know how others manage it lol. All the best. :) x

Oh God, I feel so sorry for you. Gaining confidence is really hard sometimes. I remember having to give a presentation in school and I was so nervous my knees were literally shaking and the paper I was holding was trembling with my hands. Everybody noticed it.

Perhaps get some public presentation coaching so that you are used to it next time. Join a school drama club - that will help your confidence. You will get there.

As for tonight - forget about it. Shrug it off. Recognise that you dried up- even experienced newsreaders do it. Tomorrow is another day. If anyone mentions it - just laugh and say something like "Hell, I was nervous - really dried up" and laugh it off.

They won't remember tomorrow. Don't worry about it, honestly, they all would've felt stupid and freaked out about their own presentations, too worried about their own to even care about yours. You should join some after school activities to make more friends and you won't be so lonely :)

More then likely by now no one even remembers, in life your going to go through things like this and worser, dnt sweat it

tough crowd... sucks bro.
