Can I talk to someone online about depression/mental health rather than ringing?!

Question: Can I talk to someone online about depression/mental health rather than ringing? I don't want parents to hear?
Like you have Samaritans and NHS etc. But I don't want to talk to someone on the phone in case my parents hear. Is there any chance anyone knows of any websites where you can e-mail or chat to someone? please. help.

Are you in the UK or USA?

If you're under 18 you can access the ChildLine website and chat one-to-one with a trained counsellor online.

If you're 18 or over then there are various message boards you can use. Yahoo Answers is probably a good place to start. If you ask a new question and include details of what you wish to discuss, I'll reply if I can find it!

I'm a qualified mental health practitioner in the UK
