Can I ever love myself again?!


Question: Can I ever love myself again?
Iv suffered from bulimia for over 3 years now but after councilin I'm in two minds about it all because I almost died. I want to feel normal like I did b4 this crap began but I'm scared of gainin weight and hate the feeling of it. Iv recently put on some weight as iv managed to find a food I call my safe food which I eat every day but I look at myself and see fat and ugly still. B4 the bulimia I was 136 pound at 5ft6 and my fiancé said he fell in love with me and my body like that and hates my body now but I don't believe him a feel he's just tryin to make me fat.

My question is will my body ever go back how it was as at the mo the weight is on my stomach so looks horrible and will I ever eat normally and feel ok or will I constantly restrict food I like? At the mo all I'm eatin is small portions of salmon and rice. Also will the confidence I used to have come back and will I ever love my body?

First off you do not I repeat do not need to go back and lose all the way and go bulimic again you are just fine the way you are you are certainly not overweight and don't need to worry about it beside despite what the media tells you skinny *** girls thats nothing but skin and bone are not very attractive it would be like humping a skeleton eeww guys we like a little junk in the trunk if you know what I'm saying
I think you're a lucky person to have a fiance like that and he's not just saying that cause beauty goes deeper than skin weather you love your body again well thats up to you cause how you see your body isn't the way the world sees it its how you simple see it and even if you get skinnier than holy hell you'll still hate your body unless you find away to see yourself through your fiance eyes
So go ahead eat some pie eat some steak enjoy life and if you're that worried work out once in awhile a good work out and a big meal feels great just don't become one of those people who work out none stop until they pass out you don't need to kill yourself just an hour or two a day and eat what you like



136lbs is an ideal weight for your height. anyway instead of worrying about food to control your weight, why dont you do some exercise instead..go to a aerobics class or buy a workout dvd or even go for a walk or jog. do something you enjoy that will make you feel good about yourself and that will help you tone up your body and your stomach. doing exercise will also increase your metabolism so you will be able to eat more and not put on any weight. your fiance loves you for who you are and would much rather you were happier whatever weight you are at.
