Question: Has fasting from food given you the ability to overcome other additictions?
Eating food is so basic to life. Everybody at some time in their life can relate to using food like a drug...for pleasure. Fasting helps you to overcome the power food has over us. Have you been able to gain victory over your appetite and as a result been able to overcome other vices as well?

I've been using an intermittent fasting protocol for 6 weeks now. I can tell you that it helped me to lose fat and also to stop drinking so much alcohol. Before I started fasting I was drinking 3-4 rum and coke drinks every night. In the last 6 weeks I have had about 3 drinks. I feel much healthier and very little desire to drink. I have also quit smoking weed since starting the fasting. You won't regret it if you try it.

To overcome addictions of any kind, Try Overcoming the Urge Each time you Overcome the Urge, it Drives the addiction deeper and deeper into your psyche
Try this :
Each time you feel the Urge
Say the Following:
What Am I talking about, -I don't ----- , I never have, and I Never will. / Then Busy your mind and hands with something to distract whatever the urge is.
