I was once diagnosed with bpd. After months of therapy for that, i went to a new doctor who said that my bpd was a misdiagnosis. Since then, Ive been focusing on my self-image, depression and cutting.
It doesnt sound to me like you have borderline. It is characterized by intense mood swings, impulsive and reckless behavior, self injury, drug abuse, very low self esteem, etc.
You don't have BPD. It is the most aggressive disorder in the DSM. I see a lot of people thinking they have it here, because they see one or two symptoms they identify with.
People thinking you're a loser isn't a disorder symptom
Not being able to keep relationships going isn't a disorder symptom.
If you were extremely promiscuous, initially obsessed with who you date, as in your whole life IS them, and the second they make a mistake, you ditch them without a goodbye - that's a symptom.
You'd be impulsive, dangerous behavior, drug abuse, alcoholism, gambling, unsafe sex, etc...
Also you'd be extremely manipulative. You'd use people constantly for personal gain.
And these are just the basic symptoms, there are so many more.
Borderline Personality Disorder is the medically accepted term for a sociopath. Sociopaths have the inability to connect with other people. They are incapable of love and are known for manipulating other people for personal gain. If you are feeling depressed, it is highly unlikely that you could be a sociopath as this would mean you were unable to feel the kind of sadness you say you are experiencing. In any case, if you're dealing with depression you should seek professional help.
Who has said that you have Borderline Personality Disorder?
Remember that unless you have been diagnosed by a professional, it's not wise to self-diagnose and try to fix something that was never wrong in the first place.
See a professional. Be well.
I wish you all the best.
