Question: What kind of brain scan would doctors do....?
...if they needed to find out if you had cognitive problems, like memory, a neurotransmitter imbalance, depression, ADD, where all the activity is happening in the brain, etc

probably a functional MRI (fMRI)
Probably not any kind of scan. Depression, ADD, Bipolar, things like that don't show up on scans.
