Are these signs of depression?!

Question: Are these signs of depression?
I'm 17 and stressed out. Ever since my grandmother died last year, I've been more depressed. I'm isolated. My mom is overprotective and doesn't let me go anywhere, I can't talk to her about anything. She won't take me to a doctor, apparently people will think I'm crazy. I cry for no apparent reason, like now and I can't stop. I feel worthless. I can't take criticism, I cry when someone does that. I don't get much sleep, I can't focus in school and I don't want to do homework. I've had suicide thoughts, I told my mom. She told me to shut up. I'm sad all the time and all I want to do is sleep. I feel like I'm never gonna get everything done. I can be in a ball crying and minutes later in a better mood. What's wrong with me?

Hey buddy your not alone alot of us have felt that way to. And what the survivors have done to pull out of it: is reach out and get connected they actually have support groups like AA for people like us. Call any psychiatric hospital in your area and they should have a list of all the places in your area. O and this doesnt mean your crazy your just going through something right now. So reachout and yes going to a good bible based church is good/ a blessing also.

please pass up your mom...no help there.
if you go to church...confide in someone there.
if you have a friend and you are in good relations with their parents...see if you can talk to them.
do you have a favorite teacher that you could talk to?
you need to talk...and let someone else know how you are feeling.
push come to shove...walk into your family doctors office...tell them what you are feeling and what has been going on with your life.

tell someone...talk to someone
good luck and God bless.
