Problems meditating. I need advice from someone thats not crazy.?!

Question: Problems meditating. I need advice from someone thats not crazy.?
when i first started doing this sum months ago it was easy and the first time im tried i got into real deep meditation it was weird but i liked it but it was only for a short time because it scared me. After i got my balls back i tried another time i could not get to that state but i could feel real relaxed my my head felt amazing and like all my problems went away but could no longer get to the deep state and not the more i do it the harder it gets to the point i just want to give up. I started this thing where i yawn every 5 seconds uncontrollably and it stops me from relaxing then that leads to my mind filling full of junk and thoughts now i cant even do it anymore just feels like im sitting with my eyes closed thats all and i miss how it made me feel. Don't say use pot because that makes no since drugs make u get hallucinations from the THC so pot is BS you don't see the monks smoking pot...i don't think so. so if you could please help me out ill love you forever. have a nice day ^_^ <3

do you have any idea how much THC you need to smoke to hallucinate? and even then it's not full on hallucinations.

Because this is in Mental Health, I'll say that the authority you should refer to is mbct.com, the home site of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. You can find out about the book Mindful Way Through Depression, by the people who created this valuable treatment

You're trying too hard and overthinking it!

Relax and know that everyday will be different. Release all expectations of what you want or expect and don't judge.

Just let it flow.

Meditation is holistic relaxation excercises.

Since civilized societies began to emerge, meditation has evolved into a structured practice. Although there is not a lot of recorded information dealing with the history of meditation, its roots can be traced back to ancient times.

Some meditation experts suggest thinking of your mind as a glass of muddy water and meditation helps bring clarity. Many forms of meditation result in the clearing of one's mind.
