Anorexia Nervosa, Binge-Eating/Purging Type?!

Question: Anorexia Nervosa, Binge-Eating/Purging Type?
I'm studying for a Psychology exam and apparently under Anorexia Nervosa, there is the Binge-Eating/Purging Type. But isn't purging considered Bulimia Nervosa?

Answers:

Anorexics also purge in order to get rid of food they've eaten. Generally, anorexics also restrict their food intake to minuscule amounts and refuse to maintain a healthy body weight. Many bulimic people are actually a healthy body weight.

Bulimia involves restricting food for a period of time, then binge-eating to excess (say, what someone would eat in several days within several hours) then making yourself sick/purging.

I've never heard of a 'Binge-Eating/Purging Type' for anorexia.

I think so yes. If not they are both very similar.

Anorexia Nervosa is a Mental Disease. There is in fact such thing as fat Anorexic people. Even though that is extreamley rare since they have a crave to be underweight. It does happen.

Bulimia I don't think is a mental disease. Its more of an addiction. Once you get used to eating and then throwing up you get used to it. Id assume. Ive never done it but if my body gets used to something I do often enough. I'll always want to do it...
