What is recommended when you have high levels of anxiety w/ bad thoughts?!

Question: What is recommended when you have high levels of anxiety w/ bad thoughts?
So, before you experience the totality of the trauma in your head (like venom) and you begin to feel uncomfortable because some distrustful thought is about to cross your mind, what should one do to avoid it?

Answers:

The best thing for my anxiety is exercise.

- Releases endorphins that automatically improve mood.
- Uses up built up adrenaline from anxiety.
- Relaxes me afterwards.
- And also boosts confidence because I feel like I'm doing something right.

All of these things helped my anxiety a ton.

Some coping mechanisms I use to help my anxiety are taking deep breathes, trying to think through what I am worrying over logically (because a lot of my worrying is illogical), or doing something else, focusing on something else, getting my mind away from my negative thoughts. Also another good thing that can help anxiety is to go for a walk or do something to put your body in motion. Hope that helps.
