Once you put something in the public domain, you can't retrieve it. Why someone would misuse it is based on who they are and their relationship to the person in the picture. If it is explicit in some way, well it's gonna show up on adult voyeur sites lickity split.

What kind of picture? o n o If it's a nude one, hell yes they can misuse it, and they will. If not, I suppose if she's pretty someone could steal it and tell people it's them. Or they could post it around calling her ugly/pretty/something else. That's the most people usually do with pictures that they find of strangers, aside from ignoring it, but you never know. I hang out in fairly harmful places, so it depends where you "posted" this picture as well.

Possibly. They could pretend to be her. Or a pervert could fantasize about her. I hope you had her permission to post the picture.
