What do you call a fear of taking new medications OTC or prescription?!

How do you overcome it, or is there some pill for this too which I would probably be terrified of taking I get scared trying anything new even over the counter. Then when I do take it for instance I was prescribed a sleeping pill even though it worked and made me tired but I was getting all paranoid and my body was creating all these strange symptoms (I know this cause this has happened when I think something is wrong) Is there anything I can do about this. My doctor prescribed me klonopin and I wasn't scared of that because I was given it a long time ago to counter the stimulant effects of something else. (Can't remember) anyways how do I stop this madness.
