i sleep 13+ hours a day, depression?!


Question: I sleep 13+ hours a day, depression?
i think i got depression, i go to sleep at 12am, wake up at 8am go to school, come back at 11 and then go to sleep till like 5pm, is this normal? am i depressed?

It could be depression, or it could just be that you need more sleep due to the fact that you are still growing. To find out one way or the other, you should probably see a doctor. Peace to you, Tidusraven.



I slept that much when I was a teenager. It was just a normal thing at first because I had like, nothing to do. But now I'm experiencing some deeper emotions and whenever I sleep that long, it's because I get tired of dealing with people and just being conscious in general. =___=; So do you feel like you're "escaping" when you're sleeping? Do you think you do this to avoid everything and everyone? Are you sick of dealing with people? Do you ever feel like you just want to sleep forever? If those answers are yes . . . well, at the very least, you're in a slump. I wouldn't be quick to call any teenager depressed considering we're chock-full of hormones and growing up to do.



It's normal for teenager/s to carry on like this! I used to be the same!
