My best friend doesn't believe I have an eating disorder?!

Question: My best friend doesn't believe I have an eating disorder?
I've had an eating disorder of off an on starvation for 2 years. Lately it's gotten worse. Everytime I would starve I'd try to get my friend to help talk me out of it. It never worked anyways. She said it's all in my head and that I don't have one. Guess I'm too fat and have to lose alot of weight to prove it to her..?

Why does it matter what she believes?

This is your choice, she is not involved.

if she doesn't believe you than don't tell her. tell somebody that WILL listen to you, like your mom, just somebody that you can trust not to judge you, i have an eating disorder but when ever i find my self starvng myself again, i look at those pictures of girls that are disgustingly skinny, and i remind myself that i don't want to be like that. Don't starve yourself, eat something that is good for you, and don't binge, if ur gonna binge, eat fruit. Your not too fat, and dont ever think that. Just tell someone who will listen, and if she doesn't believe you then you are overselling her as your best friend

You don't have to prove it to her. Tell her that you her best friend and that she should believe you.

Clearly you are asking the wrong "friend" for help. Tell someone who cares about you your dilemma.

not a very good friend! she should be suppotive and help you out!

no it dosent mean your too fat it means shes dumb
