How do I get a prescription for xanex?!

Question: How do I get a prescription for xanex?
Let me start off by saying I don't want to use it for anything other then its intended use.

Last year I went to a therapist and she said I had anxiety and slight depression. The panic attacks have gotten a lot worse, about an hour ago I had a really bad panic attack. My mom gave me a half a tablet of xanex and I'm thinking so clearly, and I feel normal.

So, how can I get a prescription for it? I honestly feel like I should be taking it on a daily basis. I feel normal for the first time. I didn't realize how anxious and paranoid I was until now, really.

By the way I'm a teenager.

From a qualified physician. There is no other way.

if your therapist has diagnosed you with anxiety or depression, then he or she can refer you to a doctor who will give you a prescription.
BUT xanax is highly addictive and you should talk to your therapist about other options or other pills you could take, rather than the quick fix that you could get addicted to.

best of luck (:

You should ask your mom if you can see a psychiatrist because the xanax really helped with your anxiety and you think you should be taking it on a daily basis. Or you could just bring it up with your therapist and asked to be referred to somebody who could prescribe it to you.

Good luck on that one. Teenage angst is not normally considered a problem. However, when I was a teenager, we found ways to address our symptoms.
