It's because you lose focus and you have to work quickly, before your brain gives up on this task you are doing

Been there, done that

I have ADHD. And my mother, who was a nurse, told me that when you have adhd you can "hyper focus" on things you are interested in. but otherwise you have a noticeably shorter attention span and are easily distracted.

because they were pushed around and forced to do something against their will
now they are so conditioned and act as if they have no boundaries because their boundaries were violated ( big tyme)
