Don't worry about it. Im afraid of hieghts to, and I've been skydiving, rollercoster rides, jungy jumping.
Face your fear for the fun of it.

I have the same problem as you, I am terrified of heights, falling and everything to do with roller coasters. However, my friends love them.
What I have learnt from it is that you shouldn't let this fear get in the way of spending a day with your friends.
First, I would suggest going on a smaller roller coasters, to get used to them. You can then see how you feel from there. If you feel brave enough to go on bigger ones, then good for you.
If you don't feel like it, if you are too afraid then simply don't, your friends shouldn't judge you because of it.
You won't die on the roller coaster, they're completely safe, they are tested several times before anyone can get on them. I know what you feel like though, but trust me, you'll be fine.
Fears are horrible to overcome, their frightening, hence why they are your fears. It's difficult to overcome them, but I wish you all the best, and I hope you have a good time =D

I'm afraid of roller coasters as well

It is very rare to die on a ride. Have you every heard of a roller coaster cart flying of the tracks? That would be a freak accident and rare. There are people there who check the rides and make sure your belt is tight.

Think about this way. More people die in car crashes than roller coaster rides. Try to compare it to something. You have a better chance to be hit by someone on the road than flying of the coaster.

Try to compare and contrast.

Once you get to the environment breath relax and try not think too much about it.

Maybe you guys can start on small rides like the teacups or something and go up. Like build it up. That can help too.

it is probably not the height that you are afraid of. most people think it is is but it really the fear of falling. facing your fears is the answer to your problems but it needs to be done slowly and with the proper help behind you such as a therapist helping you to do it. i used to suffer from agoraphobia. it is from the greek meaning literally "fear of the open marketplace" i used to be afraid to leave my house. i tried doing it on my own but it only caused me more problems until i went to counseling with
a social worker who helped me to face my fear slowly by putting me into public situations where i had to face down my fears. but i always had a safety net there that i was unaware of having until i got better.

personal experience.

First, stop being a drama queen. You are not going to die on these rides. That is the rationalization that you make inside of your head & it is BS. Second, if you don't want to get on the ride then just don't. They can talk all they want about you being a punk or whatever, the real answer is that these rides frighten you. You don't need a reason to not get on. Lastly, since peer pressure is such an issue for you, then you need to stay home. If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch. Your friends love this stuff, and you hate this stuff. Look, I'm all for facing your fears, but it has to be on your schedule and not somebody else's time table.

You will die. My best friend died last week when he went on Space Mountain in Disney World. Fell out of the car and he feel and got hit by a different car. Don't go on it. For the sake of my friend Jonathon.

If you're just scared then kill your fear and go ahead. The only valid reason of not going on the ride would be that it makes you puke.

If you don`t like it then don`t do it , as simple as that.
